Learn to Code in Python using Tynker.com

Right now Tynker.com is offering free online computer lessons (up to 20) to starting learning to code.  You will need to log on, get approved from a parent/guardian and you can learn to code while playing minecraft or other games.   I just got my first lesson in Python in the game Toxic Jungle!

https://code.org/athome has lesson sets for students to learn at home

You can take one hour classes or get ready for the Innovation Design Challenge by doing the lessons sets for the App Lab ( https://code.org/educate/applab  and go to intro to the App Lab)  to help wins some money for your Unit.

Artist@makepaducah  is offering free online art classes.  The first one was Monday but her video is still up and more classes to come.

What to help scientists during your time at home.  Check out  https://observer.globe.gov/  for several different hands-on citizen/community science activities you can do at home.   You can also go to https://www.zooniverse.org/ and help with a number of projects.  The project of the month right now is "Bash the Bug" to help fight bacteria!
